J. Patrick Sullivan

Born in Visalia, California on May 23, 1947, Patrick attended Redwood High School and The College of the Sequoias. Patrick received his B.S. in Business from Santa Clara University in 1969. He graduated with honors from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1973 and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1973 (1972). Patrick worked for the law firms of Jacobis and Isham until 1975 (1974) when he took over the law firm of Richard Thompson in Lindsay, California. He was appointed Judge of the Lindsay Municipal (Justice) Court in 1975 (1974) at the age of 27. At that time, he was the youngest judge in the State of California. Patrick moved his practice from Lindsay to Visalia in 1991 and became a partner with Gary Paden and Jennifer Conn, both of whom have since been appointed Judge of the Tulare County Superior Court. Patrick opened a second office in Truckee, California in 2005.

Patrick has experience in many areas of law including, but not limited to, criminal, family, elder, estate planning, real estate, business planning and contract law and litigation.

In his spare time, Patrick enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, running and skiing. Patrick was a member and president of the Lindsay Chapter of Kiwanis. He has been married to Christine, his wife of over 35 years and has three children, Kimberly, Ryan and Joseph and two grandchildren, Kacie and Joseph.
